Designed to please!
A futuristic, well-crafted beauty having an octagonal design grille attached with large L-shaped DRLs, assisted by peeled-back headlamps, followed by gently sloping A and C pillars and a rear bumper which has silver elements and the scuff plates will surely mesmerize your eyes. It's a "future classic".
Feature-rich
The upcoming Magnite will be full of great new features. Features like a 360-degree camera, connected car technology borrowed from Kicks, automatic climate control, sunroof, LED DRLs, steering mounted controls, two-tone painted scheme, and much more. Also an 8-inch touchscreen. It might be priced in the range of Rs.5 to 8 lakhs which will surely steal some of the sales from the cars leading in this segment.
Rivalry
When launched, it will compete with Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, and its sibling from Renault India, Renault Kiger. It might also be up against the compelling sub-four-meter crossover - Sonet which will be launched by Kia soon.
Official statement
"The Nissan Magnite is made on the philosophy of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ and has been designed in Japan while keeping in mind the requirements and aspirations of Indian customers", said Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motors India.
Coming soon in India!
If the sources are to be believed then it might get launched in India sometime in January 2021 and will be available in four engine and gearbox options starting at Rs. 5.25 lakh.
Nissan has lots of expectations from the Magnite concept.
