After its revealing in Auto expo 2020 ,  the 7 seater version of Harrier called Gravitas would be soon launched in the market . Its astonishing specifications and design will make it the direct rival of Mahindra XUV 500. But due to the large number of variables like price, engine, and other features, scaling the pros and cons of both is not a child's play. Therefore here we have tried to compare both to help you have a glance at a much clearer picture of these two.

On the basis of interior features other then above mentioned ones, Mahindra XUV is slightly lagging behind Gravitas. But Mahindra is going to launch the next version of this SUV in the early months of next year and without any need to mention will provide it with upgrades. Therefore on the basis of interior both would be more or less on the same level.

As mentioned, the price of Gravitas would start from 15 lakh rising to 22 lakh. On the other hand, Mahindra XUV 500 is available in four variants namely W5, W7, W9, and W11 with a price of 13.19 lakh, 14.49 lakh, 16.19 lakh, and 17.69 lakh respectively. Clearly on the basis of price Mahindra is seen to be more lenient to its customers than TATA. But considering the specs of the car , this elevation in the price difference does not seem to be exaggerated.

So what should we choose?

According to my opinion if the slight difference in price is that big of problem then going for Gravitas would be a better option. Being the other way around than choosing Mahindra would still be a wise choice. And if waiting for a year is not too much bothering for you then you can wait for Mahindra' s new Avatar thereby not missing out on an option.
