When Vitara Brezza came for the first time in India it hit the right spot since its beginning and soon surpassed its rival Ford EcoSport. Further with introduction of Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Hyundai Venue it faced stiompetition but somehow managed to perform well.
But the launch of Hyundai Venue has caused a threat to its existence since 2019. In order to gain lead over its rival, Maruti launched the facelifted Vitara Brezza at the 2020 Auto Expo this past Feburary. And now it has released an updated price list for all the petrol versions.
Why?
To comply with the new BSVI emission standards, the old 1.3-litre DDiS200 Fiat-sourced diesel engine has been replaced by a 1.5-litre K15B four-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol motor. And so the prices of all the 9 models has been updated by the company.
