After the 7-seater next-gen Creta, Hyundai is planning to bring down its 8-seater Palisade to the Indian market,  which was premiered globally at the 2018 Los Angels Auto Show and is solely based on the HDC-2 Grandmaster concept showcased in Busan.

Just like Santa Fe!

Taking inspiration from Santa Fe, Hyundai built this beauty with a sleek design and completed it with premium features. And not to forget the high safety standards. Also, you can customize your Palisade as per your will.

Design

The design is a bit edgy but elegant.  The front showcases new headlamps, a prominent grille section combined with a side profile, almost identical to Santa Fe.

Engine

In Korea, this bold-looking SUV has a 3.8 litres V6 petrol engine as its soul which generates 295 horsepower and 355 Nm of peak torque and a 2.2 litres oil burner which gives 202 hp and 440 Nm torque just like Carnival. The engine is paired with 8-speed automatic transmission.

This pro SUV provides enough space for 8 people with 350 L boot space and is padded up with many attractive features like a 10.25 inch touchscreen, heated and ventilated seats, a 7 inch digital display for infotainment, and much more.

Safety

As far as safety is considered it comes with 6 airbags and latest safety features like AAB with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, lane following assist, cross-traffic alert, etc.

When?

Hyundai Palisade will especially target family-based customers and is expected to be available in India by 2021.
