Volvo offers benefits of Rs 4 lakh on Volvo XC40

The Swedish car brand Volvo has offered another good bargain to its customers. This time the deal , which in company's words is a 'Hassle-free offer' gives its customers benifits worth Rs 4 lakh on Volvo XC40. The company has chopped of price of the car by Rs 3 lakh and is also providing accessories worth 1 lakh as a complementary with the car .

What are the  benifits and for how long ?

Before this offer , the price of car was Rs 39.90 lakh ( ex showroom ) in India which was yet one of the lowest in its segment. Now its price is reduced to 36.90 lakh which further consolidates that claim. The company has also offered accessories worth 1 lakh with the car. But it should be noted that offer is for limited time only.

Design and space

The SUV is based on Volvo' s new CMA platform which help it to stood apart from other siblings like  XC60 and XC90  . This blending with company's premium design enables it to showcase the fashion statement of the brand. The only thing that can be considered a shortcoming about it in this field is its compact soace. Due to its small size as well as feature packed interior , the car is strictly a four seater which is outdone by most of its  rivals.

Engine ,transmission and safety 

Volvo XC40 is propelled by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that churns  out power of 190hp and 300Nm of torque. The diesel engine which was first introduced during its launch is being discontinued. As for the transmission, the car has a gearbox providing 8- speed automatic transmission .

While buying a Volvo car , safety features are naturally the last thing you should be worry about. This car also has lived upto that name. Its safety features includes seven airbags, child safety lock , electronic brake force distribution,tractional control and multiple radar based drive assist functions. These inlcude blind spot warning, lane keep assist, parking assist and more. It won't be an aggregation to say that no other car in same segment can possibly offer same level of safety.
