The company has announced RS7 won't be the only RS model running in India this year. At the launch of Audi RS7 Sportback Audi India head, Balbir Singh Dhillon said, "As a brand, we are focused on bringing exciting products for our customers and I am happy to share that the all-new Audi RS7 Sportback isn't the only RS model scheduled for 2020."
The RS Q8
The faster version of standard Q8, RS Q8 is loaded with a twin-turbo V8 engine(paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system) which produces 600 hp power and 800 Nm torque. Claimed to go from 0-100kph in 3.8 seconds, this SUV comes with an *-speed automatic gearbox. It comes loaded with many cool features and design changes that were supposed to be in standard Q8.
It will rival the likes of Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Lamborghini Urus and BMW X6 M.
Other RS models
The upgraded Audi RS5 will come with a 2.9-litre, 450hp V6 engine, and a few visual upgrades and will available in Coupe and Sportback forms.
The new RS6 is loaded with 4.0 litre, 600hp mild-hybrid V8 engine which is same as the RS Q8 model.
Along with these, the duo of new-gen RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback will also come to India with 2.5-litre, five-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that generates a power of 400 hp.
These might help Audi India overcome the setbacks faced due to the ongoing CORONA pandemic.
