After the launch of its first electric SUV  Mustang Mach-E ,Ford is all set to provide its customers with more reason to fall for the Mustang series . This time it's the revival one of Ford's most iconic car , Mustang Mach-1 .

A bit of history

The reincarnated name Mach-1 was first introduced in 1969 . At that time it had power of 250 hp . It was 17 years ago in 2003 that the name was last used paying homage to one and was discontinued in 2004 .

What's there to look for ?

Although its name is already enough to gather  limelight , it isn't the only thing snatching the attention of its admirers . The new model is powered by updated Mustang 's 5.0 litre V8 enabling it to produce expected power of 480 horsepower. It is also equipped with parts of GT350 ,GT250R and the Shelby GT500 . This , as per its manufacturer  " bridges the gap" between it and the performance cars like GT350 and GT500 . Another absorbing feature is the two gears to choose from. One is a 6- speed manual gearbox while another being a 10-speed automatic gearbox . Although not specified exactly, its speed would easily surpass standard 4.3 seconds to reach 0-100 kph and top speed of 250 kph . This would further push it to the exaggeration of its name Mach-1 ( literally meaning speed of sound in air at sea level) .

Launch and price

After the release of Mach-E in the market ,it is expected that this car would be launched in spring of 2021 . As for its price, the amount is not announced yet .
