The oldest global motorcycle brand in continuous production, The Royal Enfield which is an Indian motorcycle manufacturing company based in Chennai is going to launch its Royal Enfield 650 Flat track on August 28 in the US. It will debut in the famous AFT i.e American flat track that is to start in August.
This project is in collaboration with Harris performance which is owned by parent company either motors.

This vehicle and some others were supposed to be launched in Daytona American Flat Track March 2020 but got delayed due to the pandemic. This vehicle would be equipped with a BS6 compliant engine and the company has made upgrades to improve the bike's flat track performance. This is a specially made bike with production twins, having based on the famous Interceptor 650.
It would be ridden by Johnny Lewis an AFT racer. He's also a Royal Enfield Slide School Instructor at the AFT.
He said in a recent press release that they are working on the model and he's suggested some improvements and hopes to come up with something really promising.

Later this year in October four lady drivers will join lewis and showcase the new improved interceptor 650 for the Dixie Speedway event on October 2 and 3 and also at Daytona beach on October 15 and 16.
Lewis said that "We're already seeing great results from the motorcycle. the team at harris performance and Royal Enfield has done a great job with the chassis, and we have already begun working on small adjustments based on my feedback. with the way the schedule is working out with small tracks, we could surprise many people." With this comment creating huge suspense, people are eagerly waiting for this vehicle to hit the commons.
